Life was simple in the pass few decades and evolved to expand into a high–tech lifestyle. This is transported by the revolution of technology over the years. The shift of organizational routines did transcend further than what has been thought by Bill Gates few years ago: “If the 1980s were about quality and the 1990s were about re-engineering, the 2000s will be about velocity”. Indeed it is all about velocity yet the velocity of the digital automation has far gone from the initial notion he had. It is more that what he meant of the “velocity” he mentioned in his book.
