President Obama is stepping up its campaign against outsourcing in its election year and he has proposed to establish a new minimum tax on foreign earnings. This is designed to discourage US firms from shipping jobs to other countries.

A total of 40,000 Indian nationals would be provided work opportunities in Europe according to a secret trade agreement entered into by the European Union and the Indian government. According to leaked documents, there would be a total of 12,000 jobs available exclusively for Indians in the United Kingdom alone.

According to the Reserve Bank of India, NRIs and PIOs are not required to report their transaction details to the central bank. The transactions mentioned in the announcement were the purchase of immovable properties in India. It is expected that because of this pronouncement, Indians located outside the country would be more inclined to invest in the country.
